Hello, my name is Naty Edwards.
I was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis, an autoimmune disease that causes severe muscle weakness.
In August, I was scheduled to get an emergency hysterectomy because the doctor found very large fibroids. After the surgery, the Myasthenia symptoms got worse and caused me to have Myasthenia breathing crises back to back every month for the last 5 months. I've been hospitalized for a week at a time, getting plasmapheresis treatments, but the effects of the treatment only last for a few days.
Thank God this month they started a new treatment called Rystiggo, and I have been able to regain my strength slowly without falling into crisis. All this journey left me with some hefty medical bills, and also the new treatment is a bit pricey as well. Thank God for insurance, but I still have to cover some of the costs, and not being able to work as much as I should has made me fall back financially.
I'm asking for help to catch up on my monthly bills and cover basic necessities as well as medical expenses. Thank you so much for your help
