Support Nat's Journey to Confidence after VSG!

Hello and greeting folks!

I’m humbly asking for funding to assist with skin removal now that I have successfully had Gastric Bypass surgery in 2022 and kept the weight (90-105lbs) off for almost 3 years.

When I worked the weight off and reached my highest weightloss goal (from 280 to 175lbs) in 2024, I was still employed with Cedar Grove and had insurance (United HealthCare) but despite multiple attempts and brilliant letters written by 2 different doctors medically approving the surgery…insurance STILL DENIED ME stating my company felt my panniculectomy was cosmetic not medical.

Early last year, my career was shaken up. We had to move locations from Murfreesboro to Nashville. Then a few months in they decided to merge facilities and I no longer had a job at the workplace I called home for 24 years. So, yep you guessed it, no more insurance and until recently I was unemployed for over 6 months. My current job does not offer medical to any of its employees. Before you ask…Yeeesss, I applied for Medicare, TennCare, Marketplace, blah blah but I was not approved.

As you can guess, finances were hit and the struggle was/is real. But with God, some planning, multiple hustles, friends and family made sure Dallas was good and the necessities were handled.

Anywho, going on 3 years later, I want this extra belly skin off folks. I know it’s not a necessity but mentally to me it is. I obsess over the spanks and fajas I strap myself into daily, the body dysmorphia that I experience looking in the mirror, even working out with little results is frustrating. Ultimately I no longer want THIS REASON of a low hanging belly of skin to fixate on. If you know me, I’m very confident, but it can be hard internally digesting how I don’t feel sexy, confident, and cute most days when I know I’ve literally folded skin strategically to get into my jeans.

If you are able to assist WOW! THANKS!! And those who can’t I completely get it…eggs are expensive and you have your own things to deal with. But I’m determined, I want this too bad. I’ll figure this out. But until then I’ll keep sucking in on my pics.
