Beta Academy is hosting a grapplethon on October 25th to raise money for Tap Cancer Out. While that's a great cause and organization, I wanted to use this opportunity to raise funds for something that's a bit more personal to me.
I lost my mother, Rosanne, to kidney disease. It's a disease that affects millions of families and often progresses without obvious symptoms until it's reached advanced stages. I'm dedicating my rounds during this grapplethon to her memory and raising money for the National Kidney Foundation.
I'm pledging $10 for every round I complete. If you'd like to join me in supporting this cause, you can donate per round at whatever level works for you: $10, $1, $0.10, or any amount. Not into per-round pledges? One-time donations are just as appreciated.
Why the National Kidney Foundation?
The National Kidney Foundation funds research, prevention and early detection programs, and provides support for patients and families dealing with kidney disease. Their work helps catch the disease earlier and improves outcomes for people going through treatment.
I really appreciate any support that you can offer to this cause.
