Stand in Solidarity with the Immigrant Community

Hi! Thank you for your interest in this fundraiser. My name is Liv Murray, and I'm raising funds for the National Immigrant Justice Center (NIJC) through organizing Solidarity Strolls.

Solidarity Strolls is an initiative I created to bring the larger community together to show our support for the immigrant community through biweekly walks. By attending a stroll and donating to this fundraiser, we are not only spreading awareness about the current inhumane treatment of immigrants but also directly contributing to an incredible organization, the NIJC, that works tirelessly to ensure that low-income immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers have access to justice and human rights protections.

Given the current political administration's devastating immigration policies, such as terminating legal services for unaccompanied children forcing them to represent themselves in court and the creation of Alligator Alcatraz which holds many immigrants with no criminal records, supporting an organization like NIJC is vital to fighting against these inhumane practices. Together, we can help support their essential mission.
