Aashish Rai has proudly represented Nepal at the national level and has also played in various football leagues across the country. Through years of dedication, hard work, and sacrifice, he has inspired many young footballers with his passion and commitment to the game.

On 15 February 2025, during an international friendly match for the Nepal U-23 National Team, Aashish suffered a devastating leg injury, sustaining multiple fractures that changed his life in an instant. Since then, he has undergone multiple surgeries and continues to fight through a long and difficult rehabilitation journey.
