I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of Natilie Kreye and Amanda Hitchcock as they make the difficult arrangements for their fathers funeral.
Natilie came home Monday 5:26/2025 finding that her father ( who lives with her) seemed ill but they were going to the doctor on Tuesday. Tuesday Don seemed worse than the night prior and Natilie made a call to her sister and they agree to call 911 as he was refusing to go to the doctor and seemed unstable to make that decision. Arriving to Cambridge hospital they discovered that Don (their father) has stage 4 melanoma and was transferred to United Hospital. At that time it was unaware to anyone that he had cancer. He lived a regular life always walking through Isanti on a daily basis for exercise. This diagnosis was completely out of left field. Amanda drove down from her home up North and has been with Natilie by Don’s side ever since.
After many tests and scans it’s clear that this is not something that is treatable. Don has lesions throughout his stomach, lungs and brain. There are 20 in his brain alone along with bleeding. The MRI lit up and was said to show it’s traveled to his spine as well.
Don passed away 6/4/2025.
We are looking to ease this process in every way possible for the family.
Amanda is a stay at home mom and lives out of town with four kids and her husband. In the mean time while she’s here to support her father and sister, her husband returned home with the children and animals. Natilie is a single mom with four kids, one of which graduated just last year. She works full time, she also runs Suvanna’s Outreach however recently has been out of work on intermediate leave for her son’s health conditions. She drives back and forth from the twin cities and Mayo multiple time a week.
Don has no life insurance.
Dons passing was extremely quick and was not expected.
Anyone who personally knows Amanda and Natilie know that there is nothing they would not do for their community, friends and family. Please help ease the financial burden and allow them to go through the grieving process without any additional stress.
We appreciate all the prayers and support.
