Support Nathan’s Recovery After Stroke

My name is Minh, and I am raising funds for my husband, Nathan. Last Friday, Nathan suffered a stroke while at the gym. His heart stopped twice, and he was rushed to the emergency room, where doctors performed emergency surgery to assess the damage to his brain. The results showed significant brain damage and internal bleeding, and Nathan is now in a coma. The doctors have told us he will need to stay in the hospital for at least another month, and we are facing a long and uncertain road ahead.

We are currently at Harborview Hospital ICU, and the medical bills are already overwhelming. On top of that, we have to pay for our rent, utilities, food, and gas, all while neither of us is able to work. I am doing everything I can, even selling our belongings, but it’s not enough to cover all our expenses. When Nathan is eventually discharged, we know there will be even more bills to pay, and the financial burden is only growing.

Our families do not accept us because we are gay, and they have not offered any support. All I can do is stay by my husband’s side and care for him as best I can. We are so grateful to everyone who donates or shares our story. Your kindness and support mean the world to us during this heartbreaking and difficult time. Please help us if you can—every little bit truly makes a difference.
