My name is Nathan. I've been battling kidney disease since getting sick five years ago. It's been a hard and humbling journey. Honestly, the hardest thing I've ever done. But I consider my still being here to be my greatest achievement and a testament to the quality of family and friends that have helped me this far. I've got a lot of love and support in my life, and I'm eternally grateful.
In the last five years, my family, friends, and I have somehow struggled along on the road to achieving transplantation. Well, the time has come and I'm finally due for this miraculous life-saving operation. The only problem is negotiating costs associated with the period of recovery after the surgery.
We need help. The recovery period leaves most unable to work for a period of a month or more, and that severely strains my limited resources. I'm humbling myself and asking for help. We're working to build a fund to manage fuel, housing, grocery, and life expenses while I mend before returning to work and my life. It's not easy asking for help, and it's not easy asking for help in times like these. But I need whatever assistance can be offered. If you can't help by donating, please share this story with those that might. Thank you!
