Support Nathan's Fight Against SJS

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Ryan and my good friend Doug's son Nathan is going through the toughest fight of his life right now. Nathan is in the hospital right now fighting a rare syndrome called Stevens-Johnson syndrome.

Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS) is a rare, serious disorder of the skin and mucous membranes. It's usually a reaction to medication that starts with flu-like symptoms, followed by a painful rash that spreads and blisters. Then the top layer of affected skin dies, sheds and begins to heal after several days. Stevens-Johnson syndrome is a medical emergency that usually requires hospitalization. Treatment focuses on removing the cause, caring for wounds, controlling pain and minimizing complications as skin regrows. It can take weeks to months to recover.

Nathan has an extreme cause of this and it was spread to his mucosa, mouth, throat and nasal cavities. Nathan is covered head to toe in these extremely painful blisters and even though the doctors expect him to make a full recovery, he unfortunately doesn't have health care coverage.

Any bit of donations will help go towards paying for his treatments and so that Nathan, who helps take care of his daughter Gemma-Kate, will not be financially crippled.

Thank you for any generosity you all might give.
