My 20-year-old son Nathaniel just experienced a life-changing emergency. A couple of weeks ago, I received a call that he was being rushed to the emergency room by ambulance after suffering a seizure and stopping breathing. At the hospital, doctors discovered he had a brain bleed, and he was quickly med-flighted to Little Rock. There, we learned that an AVM had burst in the center of his brain. Nathaniel underwent a major craniotomy so doctors could perform a full dissection of the AVM.

Nathaniel is the full support and provider for his amazing 6-month-old baby boy, Jesiah, and his beautiful fiancée, Katie. By the grace of God, my son is still alive and now beginning the long road to healing and recovery. However, he faces a very challenging journey ahead. Nathaniel is unable to work for at least 8 weeks and still has stitches in his brain. With no income at the moment, he is struggling to support his child and household through no fault of his own.
