Hi, my name is Nathaniel Peña, and I’m a 21-year-old amateur boxer training under Mike Rodriguez in Springfield, Massachusetts.
I’m originally from Boston, but I moved to Springfield for college. While there, I discovered boxing — and what started as curiosity quickly turned into a lifelong pursuit. I chose to stay in Springfield to fully commit to my goal of competing at the highest level and chasing my Olympic dream.
In just one year of competition, I’ve gone from zero fights to 16, building a record of 11–5. I am the 2025 USA Boxing National Championships Runner-Up, currently ranked #1 in New England at 176 lbs (80 kg), and ranked #10 in the nation.
To continue climbing the national rankings and earn a spot on the U.S. Olympic Team, I must compete in as many national-level tournaments as possible. One of the most important upcoming events is the USA Boxing International Open, taking place February 7–14, 2026 in Pueblo, Colorado.
I am raising funds to help cover:
• ✈️ Travel expenses
• Hotel accommodations
• Tournament registration fees
• ️ Food and recovery costs
Every donation — big or small — directly supports my ability to compete, gain exposure, and take the next step toward representing my country on the international stage.
Thank you for believing in me, supporting my journey, and being a part of my dream.
With gratitude,
Nathaniel Peña
