Help Nathan & Elaine Heal After Tragic Motorcycle Accident
On the evening of July 4th, what was meant to be a joyful ride to watch fireworks turned into a life-altering event for Nathan Heino and Elaine Mlenar. While traveling together on their motorcycle, the front tire unexpectedly came apart, causing the bike to violently shake and throw them both onto the pavement.
Elaine suffered moderate injuries to her head and leg. While her recovery will take time, Nathan's injuries were far more severe. He sustained a broken sternum, multiple broken ribs, a punctured lung, and fractures to both his arm and wrist. He faces a long and painful road to recovery.
Nathan works in landscaping — a physically demanding job that he will be unable to return to for several weeks, if not longer. As medical bills continue to grow and lost income adds to the burden, this couple is in urgent need of our help.
We are raising funds to help cover:
Medical bills and emergency care
Physical therapy and follow-up treatments
Daily living expenses during recovery
Lost income due to Nathan’s inability to work
As they heal there will be more to bare but if we can help these kids with the necessity’s to not lose all they’ve worked for, that will be one less thing to weigh them down.
If you’re able, any amount — big or small — would mean the world to Nathan and Elaine during this difficult time. Even just sharing this campaign helps more than you know.
Thank you for your compassion, prayers, and support. Let’s rally around this amazing couple and help lift some of the heavy load they are carrying.
With gratitude,
Family of Nathan & Elaine
