Hi, my name is Nathan Embrey, and I’m starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my close friend, Nathan Barbre, who was recently involved in a devastating accident while visiting his parents out of state that has left him with severe injuries.

Nathan sustained multiple serious injuries, including spinal fractures, a broken leg, shattered clavicle and shoulder, broken ribs, and nerve damage. He is now preparing to undergo spinal surgery and faces a long road of rehabilitation, physical therapy, and recovery.

Because of the extent of his injuries, Nathan will be unable to work for several months. This has placed a tremendous financial strain on him and his young family—not just for the mounting medical bills, but also for basic living expenses during this difficult time.

Nathan is not only a devoted husband but also a loving father to a young child—with another baby on the way. He is the sole provider for his family with the recent loss of job for his wife and this sudden tragedy has upended their lives emotionally and financially.
