Hello, my name is Owen and I'm 12 years old and live in Washington, DC. I'm trying to raise money for my friend Nate, who is 11, and has been my friend for the past 4 years as he is on my soccer team. Nate was recently diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, which is a type of cancer. Nate's cancer was, fortunately, diagnosed early. While at a soccer practice with an older team, Nate got hit in the chest with a soccer ball. After that happened, he never fully recovered. Thankfully, his parents took him to the hospital and the doctors were able to find the problem fast enough so that the cancer didn't spread throughout his body. Currently, he is having chemotherapy, which he will have to have for 9 months, and he will probably also have surgery and/or radiation in 3 months. All of this will, hopefully, help Nate fully recover. I hope you can help me reach my fundraising goal to help Nate. If you are able to donate, it would be very much appreciated.
