Nate Riley and the Riley family need support right now after a frightening medical emergency. At last night's St. Anthony football game, Nate took a hard hit and, showing incredible toughness, walked off the field and continued to play without an injury timeout. After he got to the sideline, he began throwing up, and it became clear the hit was severe.

Nate was taken to the Arcadia Hospital emergency room and then transferred to Children's Hospital Los Angeles, where he is currently undergoing emergency surgery for internal bleeding. This is an incredibly difficult moment for the Riley family, and many in the school community are looking for a way to surround them with care.

The organizer's child also attends Rio, and this fundraiser is being organized to show the family love through prayer and practical support. Donations will be used to compile respite and recovery baskets for the Riley family. These baskets may include gift cards for meal and grocery deliveries, restaurant gift cards, favorite food items, devotionals, and things for Nate to do and read while recovering.
