My brother, Nate, is a fighter. Against all odds, he survived something that most don’t—a devastating aortic dissection. To make things even scarier, he didn’t just have one type, but both Type A (the worst kind) and Type B. Nate’s condition was so severe that he had to undergo two open-heart surgeries to save his life, making his survival nothing short of a miracle.
For those who may not be familiar, an aortic dissection is a life-threatening condition where a tear forms in the main artery carrying blood from the heart. This creates a "false channel" that can block blood flow to vital organs, often leading to fatal consequences. But Nate, being the strong guy we all know and love, pulled through.
Now, as he focuses on healing, the reality of medical bills and everyday expenses is setting in. Nate is a small business owner and the primary provider for—his wife, Sara, and their two children, Vaughn and Lucy, but right now, he’s unable to work. While we are beyond grateful to still have him here with us, we also know this road to recovery won’t be easy.
That’s why we’re asking for your support. Any contribution—big or small—will go directly toward helping Nate and his family with medical costs, daily expenses, and the financial burden of being out of work. More than anything, we just want to give him the space to heal without the added stress of financial strain.
If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser. Every bit of support, whether financial or simply spreading the word, means the world to us.
Thank you for keeping Nate in your thoughts and prayers and for being part of his journey to recovery-and thank God for giving Nate a second chance at life❤️
