Support Natasha's Journey Through Grief

Donation protected
Friends, Family and anyone with a heart willing to listen, help and share,

My name is Ellyn Fulton and I am writing this for my Sister in Law Natasha Gudmundson.

Natasha is with her wife Heather asking for some financial help to take the remain(s) of her family home with her. I will try my best to explain the plural but yet singular reason to the word remain(s).

Tragically, Terri Gudmundson Kaufmann (pictured at the top with Natasha as a baby), passed away last week in her sleep. Natasha was in complete shock and wasn't expecting this at all. She didn’t even believe the coroner's office was telling her the truth as the news was being shared over the phone. Then it hit her like a ton of bricks and physically felt like an uppercut to the belly.

Terri had the sweetest voice on the phone and loved to watch TV that was all about Jesus. Natasha could tell you stories that would make you laugh about her mom, as she had the best sense of humor even through all her rough times and there were a lot. Natasha and Terri leaned into each other for emotional support and have been in phone communication regularly since 2021 when Natasha's only brother, my late husband, also unexpectedly and tragically passed away, Christopher Gudmundson, who she was also very close with. As you may or may not know, Natasha and her mother lived 1,500 miles apart from each other. Her amazing wife Heather took time off from work and they managed to scrape what they could together to rent a car & buy gas for Heather to drive Natasha across the country, because Natasha is not capable of even driving right now due to her unbearable grief.

They have arrived in Arizona where Terri livedto attempt to handle the business of arranging Terri to be cremated, cleaning out her rented apartment by March 31st and they need to drive back home because life doesn't stop, which takes gas to get back too. 1,500 miles of gas. They also need to eat while in Arizona and stay safe places as Natasha cannot stay in the apartment where her mother passed away. She can hardly keep it together enough to get through the steps of cleaning out her mothers apartment. This plea for financial help is also about her mother joining her Brother and Grandmother in Heaven and Natasha & Heather will also be taking her only Brothers ashes and her grandmothers (Pearl Kaufmann) ashes home with them. Hence, driving with plural remain(s) but really not wanting any of this to be true. It is just Natasha left from what she knew as her immediate family and Natasha is beside herself with grief, and if you know Natasha you know she will try to cover the pain of this with laughter. Natasha has the emotional support of her beautiful wife Heather to help get through each and every step when she does break.

Additionally, Natasha currently has her own set of disabilities and does not have a job to cover any of the expenses associated with this tragedy, and Heather and Natasha need a little financial help to get through the remaining steps of this unfamiliar territory so they can get back home and start to adjust to their new normal.

ANYTHING that you or your friends, family or strangers could help Natasha and Heather with, would be greatly appreciated. As they are trying to do the best that they can to get through all the steps, but each step takes money and they have ran out at this point and they are stuck in Arizona, trying to get to the next step of cremation and then home.

Together, we can help Natasha and Heather do all the things, out of Love.
