So my name is Natasha, and I’m reaching out for help during an unexpected and overwhelming moment in my life.
Recently, a fire broke out in the living room in the home where I live. While no one was hurt, the smoke and ash from the fire spread into my room, making it unsafe to stay there. Right now, I’m displaced and living in a hotel, unsure how long this situation will last. Before that, we've been dealing with a mold issue as well that has been left unresolved the last two months. I mistakenly paid rent recently and two days later a fire breaks out.
Without enough funds, we may have to return to the same space even though the building is uninhabitable. I can't afford to move yet, which is why I’m raising $4,000 to move into a safe, new place and finally leave this unsafe situation behind, giving me peace of mind.
The money will go towards:
- Moving into a safe, new home
- Temporary housing and hotel expenses while displaced
- Replacing essentials damaged by smoke and ash
- Transportation and daily necessities during this challenging time
