Support Natalie's Ongoing Brain Surgery Recovery
Donation protected
Six months ago, Natalie underwent brain surgery that changed her life. The road since then has been long, painful, and uncertain—and now her family needs help to keep moving forward.
Natalie had a very complex craniotomy to remove a brain tumor, and while the surgery itself was successful, her recovery has been anything but smooth. Shortly after surgery, doctors discovered a blood clot in her brain, which further complicated her recovery. Over the past six months, she’s endured a series of complications that have sent her back to the emergency room multiple times, including her current stay - now entering its second week with no clear path ahead. Most recently, doctors discovered a mass on her liver, which is now being biopsied to determine its nature. This new uncertainty has shaken her even further if even possible.
Healing from brain surgery is never easy but for Natalie, it’s been a relentless, exhausting journey, physically and emotionally.
“Some days, Natalie can barely get out of bed. Other days, she pushes herself to stand—just so our kids can see her smiling,” her husband shared.
Some days, even the basics like walking, concentrating, and managing pain can feel impossible; progress is slow. There are decent days and very difficult ones, but the truth is, this recovery is far from over.
From the moment of Natalie’s diagnosis, her husband stepped in fully, eventually leaving his job to care for her, manage the home, and tend to their children while navigating a constantly shifting medical reality. There was no other choice. Natalie needs daily support, and their children need stability and reassurance during this difficult time.
They’ve made it through these first six months with strength, love, and determination but now, as they look ahead, the financial strain is catching up. The cost of recovery is compounding and it's becoming clear that they can’t do this alone.
This GoFundMe is here to support Natalie in the months ahead during this incredibly difficult time. Natalie is one of the strongest people we know, but no one should have to face this battle alone. This isn’t about emergency relief - it’s about making sure Natalie has the time, space, and support she needs to heal. With your help, Natalie can continue to fight for her health and her family can keep standing beside her without being crushed by the weight of it all. Let's show Natalie how much love and strength surrounds her!
Thank you for your kindness, support, and prayers.
