Hi! My name is Natalie. I am 48 years old. I had a total right hip replacement on November 12th. Surgery went well, but the recovery has been tough and painful. Medically, life has been quite difficult since the year 2000. I have had numerous surgeries for a variety of different issues.
I suffer from degenerative disc disease, so four of the surgeries have been on my low back and neck.
I have been struggling financially lately due to the many medical and other monthly bills, as I have had to miss a lot of work. I am doing the best I can to keep up on them, but my bank account is quickly dwindling.
I had my 2-week post-op appointment yesterday (November 26th). Doc said everything looks good, but I need 6 more weeks to recover and need to be very careful. One wrong step or fall could damage the work that was done.
I am not one to ask for help, so this request is not an easy thing to do. I just don’t know what else to do. If I qualified for a personal loan, I would certainly go that route, but that is not an option.
I know finances are tight for a lot of people right now, especially with the upcoming holidays. I am grateful for anything anyone is able to give. I will continue to do all I can to stay afloat and get through these next 6 weeks of recovery. Thank you for taking the time to read this. May you have a wonderful holiday season!
