Support Natalie's Heart Surgery Journey

Erick and Jenna’s sweet daughter Natalie (our niece) is having open heart surgery on Thursday, July 11th. We are starting this GoFunMe to help cover expenses while Natalie is in the hospital. Here is a little more info from their Caring Bridge:

“For the upcoming surgery the surgeons will be replacing a conduit that was placed at 5 weeks old that she has outgrown. It basically pumps blood to the right places. It doesn't grow with her so it's time to get her a bigger one. She also has pulmonary stenosis which are her pulmonary arteries are narrow, making it hard for the blood to pump from her heart to her lungs. This would explain why she gets tired so easily. As of lately, even a walk around the block she complains of being tired. They will fix this by placing two stents. One is already in there but it is also too small so they will replace it. It is a complicated surgery and they're estimating 5-6 hours in the OR. PreOp is about 3-4 hours of testing and meetings with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia and touring the floor she will be on, which is the day before surgery. Estimated hospital stay is 7-10 days if all goes smoothly with no complications.”
