My name is Natalie Niu. On December 21, 2021, my world was turned upside down. I was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma—breast cancer. I am 33 years old, a wife, and mother to two girls. I have a 1 year old daughter and a 3 year old autistic daughter. 

In February 2022, I had a double mastectomy, 10 lymph nodes removed, and partial reconstruction. Biopsy results determined I have stage 2A breast cancer with lymph node involvement. I am currently undergoing 16 rounds of chemotherapy. Once completed, I will undergo radiation therapy as well.

I am the sole provider for my family and just purchased our first home in June 2021. I will be on medical leave for the foreseeable future. I am currently on short-term disability and my pay has decreased to 70% of my regular income. Once my leave transitions into long-term disability, it will decrease to 50%. This GoFundMe will help bridge the gap for my living expenses and medical bills.

I would love to be able to focus on beating breast cancer, but getting through this without becoming financially devastated is another huge obstacle to overcome. I am a proud woman, but not too proud to ask for help. Any donation is sincerely appreciated.
