You know when you Google your symptoms and it tells you that you have a brain tumor, sometimes Google is right. Our sweet Natalie is going to have surgery on Thursday, May 8th, 2025. She will be having a Lobectomy of the frontal lobe to remove a High-Grade Glioma Tumor. We are starting with surgery to remove as much of the tumor as possible. After, she will undergo chemotherapy and radiation treatments. She has a long hard road ahead of her and will need all the support that she can get.

She first started having double vision, eye swelling, protruding eyes, and frequent headaches. These symptoms along with others led to a CT followed by an MRI that found the large tumor. Unfortunately, Natalie was unable to get into a local facility within a timely manner to receive the care that she urgently needed. Natalie is currently being seen at the Mayo clinic. We have been very grateful for the doctors, resources, and knowledge at the Mayo Clinic so far. Due to the size, severity, location, and type of tumor they have made her a priority to get an urgent surgery.

Natalie is 33 years old. She has worked as an elementary teacher for 10 years and loves her job. She is hopeful that after surgery, chemo, and multiple therapies she will eventually be able to return to teaching. There is a lot of unknown questions still including what the future will hold for her. During this time she has relocated to Arizona for treatment. We will continue to pray and have faith that Heavenly Father is guiding her and our family through this trial. We love and appreciate you all.
