A very near and dear to our heart family and a small business in our community needs our help. Natalie Shifflett and her family, who run Mr. BBQ, are always among the first to offer a meal to those in need, lend a helping hand, and cover others in prayer during times of sickness or hardship. Now, they are the ones in need of our support.

On Friday night, Natalie was involved in a traumatic event with a horse, resulting in a punctured lung, three broken vertebrae in her back, several cracked ribs, and other injuries. While we are already witnessing the power of prayer and how God is working in her body, Natalie has a long road to recovery ahead. As someone who knows firsthand how sickness and injury can affect a family—especially when it’s their only source of income—I can tell you that the impact is significant. Natalie will not be able to help her husband with their business, and they have already missed a weekend event, causing a loss of revenue for their family. Often, she is at one food truck while he is at the other, working together to serve our community.
