Support Natalie & Jessica

My hometown used to be fairly anonymous, that beautiful place on the cliffs between Malibu and Santa Monica. Now, Pacific Palisades is known for devastating loss. I have heard many heartbreaking stories, and also, plenty of inspiration.

The thing is, unfortunately, this is not "just" about the fire. Natalie & Jessica were already dealing with a tragic and very challenging situation when January 7th struck and they lost their home.

Late last year, Natalie’s cancer returned stage four, right after she had brain surgery to reduce a tremor in her right (principal) hand! She didn't let that keep her from working, continuing to knit sweaters for local businesses to support her and Jessica. Nothing can get this woman, or these women, down, but there is only so much stress anyone can take. The loss of their home has exacerbated an already perplexing situation. Natalie's tremor has returned with a vengeance.

Natalie Tirrell is an accomplished model, having worked for Emilio Pucci, and she was designer James Galanos’ top model and muse. But Natalie is not just a pretty face! She graduated Summa Cum Laude in biochemistry, went onto masters’ work in art history and discovered a love of VR. Ironically, at UCLA, Natalie created virtual models of towns devastated by natural disasters. She has also volunteered with the Red Cross and Habitat for Humanity; and at the beginning of the pandemic, she used her sewing skills to create masks for the community, which was written up in the local paper, the Palisadian Post.

Now, Natalie needs OUR help.

Natalie’s strength, courage and optimism in the face of these devastating challenges are inspiration to those who know her. We are amazed by Natalie’s faith and positivity. She is intent on beating cancer’s butt and is well on her way! She has surgery in March to remove what the chemo has not been able to reach. The doctors are hopeful, and so are we who love her.

She is unable to work and provide while she faces her upcoming surgery. Please donate whatever you can to help her and Jessica, as they determinedly inspire and support those closest to them, no matter what they face!
