Support Natalie Bledsoe's Family After Hurricane Helene
Donation protected
Hello,
I am writing on behalf of my daughter, Natalie Bledsoe and her family, who live in the greater Asheville, NC area.
It has been several days since the floods from Hurricane Helene devastated all of Western North Carolina. Most of the businesses in the area, along with her husband’s workplace, were forced to close, causing Enoch to lose his job with no hope of returning anytime in the foreseeable future. This appears to be a common issue in the region, with few jobs available for people to pay their bills and support their families. They do not have the option to leave as they have a mortgage and are part of the community. I am thankful my daughter, her husband, and small child were not injured, and their home was at a high enough elevation where it did not damage their house, but all the support services are overburdened or nonexistent.
Unlike donations to national organizations that can take months to begin funding, your support will have an immediate and substantial impact on Natalie’s survival and that of her family until the area can begin to fully recover when and if federal and state funds become available.
Funds raised here will go directly to supporting their family's living expenses for hopefully a little more than 90 days, hoping to give them time to recover. (Living expenses such as the mortgage, utilities, food, and misc bills.)
Natalie and her young family will be grateful for any assistance that is provided.
