My friend Natalie is a survivor of severe physical, emotional, and sexual abuse. When she was pregnant, her abuser (child’s father) attacked her so severely that she lost her baby boy, Elliana’s twin brother, Zion. Her father has demonstrated time and time again that he’s not fit to care for his child. He has neglected her, abused her despite medical proof and police reports, the system has failed her and continued to protect her abuser instead.

Now, that same man is fighting for custody of their surviving daughter, Ellianna, and the courts have another hearing on November 24th that could determine Ellianna’s future.
