If you know me, you know that asking for help is not always my strongest skill. After 2 years of waiting lists and appointment times, I have finally been cleared for top surgery November 13th, 2024. Although I was able to pay for the first 4,500 of my surgery through insurance, I am now being billed an additional 2,300 plus 600 for hospital fees. I am raising funds to help me pay for a surgery that I not only find crucial, but also urgent to beginning a new chapter of my life. Although life presents me with this barrier, I am confident that I am not alone in this struggle or journey, all funds raised will go directly to my surgery cost and supplies to help me recover smoothly and safely. I am reaching out to my community because I understand that none of us are alone in our shared joy or shared struggle. If you have anything to contribute to my gender affirming care, please know that I am so grateful for your time and resources.
