Hi All!
Here's the great news: Natalia Guzman has been offered a position at National Community Church (NCC) to work as the missions lead at their new Virginia campus. Natalia moved to Washington, DC to be an au pair in 2019. Over the last two years she has become a deeply committed and reliable participant in the church and community.
Here's the tricky part: Natalia is in the process of applying for a Religious Worker Visa to be able to work legally in the United States. The application was filed at the end of September 2021 but the review process is long and exhaustive - it’s very likely that she won’t get an answer for 12 months or more. During this time, Natalia can remain in the US but she cannot receive a salary or other remuneration until her application is approved.
Please consider helping! Natalia needs $25,000 to support herself over the next year while she waits for an answer on her Visa status. These funds will cover her rent, utilities, food, and transportation starting in October, 2021. Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated. Every bit helps.
Natalia has always felt a calling to be the hands and feet of Jesus wherever God calls her. She has spent the last two years faithfully in the NCC and Washington, DC communities. Please consider partnering with her as she continues her journey.
And if you can't donate now, please join us in prayer for blessing and favor on the service Natalia is providing to our community.
Thank you! Watch this space for updates on Natalia's journey in the coming months.
