My name is Nisreen. I used to live with my husband in a small, simple home we built brick by brick with our own hands. But war, destruction, and harsh living conditions took everything from us. A few months ago, our house was completely destroyed in an airstrike. Nothing was left but ashes and memories. My husband—my life partner—died in my arms due to severe malnutrition and weakness. We couldn’t afford food or medicine. I couldn’t save him, and that pain will live in my heart forever. Now I am left to struggle alone. I suffer from several chronic illnesses: high blood pressure, diabetes, and a stroke that affected my mobility. I have no shelter, no income, and no access to proper medical care. I live every day with hope for a better tomorrow, but I can’t do it alone. That’s why I’m turning to you. Any donation, no matter how small, can make a difference.
