At around noon of January 14th, 2026 in
Saint Paul, Minnesota, Nasra Ahmed, a 23 year old citizen of the United States, was violently detained and arrested by federal immigration officers (ICE) on her way to pick up medication from the pharmacy.

While interacting with federal immigration agents, Nasra was racially abused and called the N-word by one agent. After this exchange, multiple agents detained her using excessive force. They grabbed and pinned her to the ground, which left her with several cuts and bruises, and a suspected concussion. Nasra, who also suffers from seizures and has an autoimmune condition, was particularly vulnerable during this ordeal and her condition's symptoms were exacerbated during her detainment.

After the violent arrest and detainment, Nasra was moved to a ICE detainment center and then moved to a county jail. There, she was kept for 2 days, where she experienced a stress induced seizure. Upon release, she was also given no documentation of her stay or the felony charge.

This fundraiser is for Nasra Ahmed. The donations will go directly to them to help cover basic living expenses like food, getting around and medical costs. Every contribution makes a real difference and is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your support!
