Support Nash's Journey to Heal

I’m posting this on behalf of my sister and my sweet nephew Nash. On Monday morning my nephew was scheduled for a minor surgery that required one night stay for monitoring & then was to go home Tuesday. Around 7:30 Tuesday morning he stopped breathing and was moved up to the PICU where once again they had to do CPR. That morning he was sedated and intubated. He aspirated during everything which caused pneumonia in his lungs and only assumptions of what happened. On Thursday he went back into the OR to take a look at everything where it was discovered he had a bad infection right next to his airway. This entire thing has left him with a feeding tube and the inability to tolerate foods and liquids. It has now been a week in the hospital & at this time no end is in sight. He is going to require intensive PT, OT & feeding therapy in the coming weeks. The plan for now is to move to Mary Free Bed hopefully within the next week. With all this happening my sister needs to be by his side which means off of work and no income coming in. Anything helps, & all the prayers are appreciated
