❤️ Help Support Naseka’s Fight Against Breast Cancer

My best friend, Naseka, who I’ve loved like family for the past 20 years, was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.

On December 17th, she will undergo a double mastectomy as her first major step in this fight.

With so much uncertainty ahead — including whether she will need chemotherapy or radiation after surgery — life has been turned upside down for her and her two children. To make sure she has the support she needs during recovery and treatment, they will be moving in with her parents so they can help care for her and the kids during this difficult time.

As strong as she is, the emotional, physical, and financial weight of this battle is overwhelming and terrifying. I am starting this fundraiser to help ease some of that burden for her and her family. Funds will go toward daily living expenses, medical needs, transportation to appointments, and anything else that will help them get through the months ahead. As her best friend, I wish I could do so much more for her so I’m struggling to find ways to help her and be there for her. Starting this in hopes of somehow relieving her of some pain, stress, worry, knowing she’s not alone in this and we’re all thinking of her
