The Callender family have been on a challenging and transformative journey over the past several years, and we wanted to share it with you.

In 2016, Naomi was diagnosed with cancer and, through surgery, overcame it, beginning a season of healing and growth that included their incredible adoption journey. However, in late 2021, intense back pain led to a year of testing, culminating in the devastating discovery in early 2023 that her cancer had returned and metastasized. Since then, she has undergone chemotherapy, adjusted her lifestyle drastically, and embraced both medical and holistic treatments. While they have seen moments of stabilization, the road has been steep, and they remain steadfast in fighting for healing with faith and determination. Recently, Naomi was accepted into a program at MD Anderson, a leading cancer center, offering new possibilities for care.

The financial burden of this journey has been immense, with medical costs, holistic treatments, and necessary lifestyle changes depleting their savings. To continue this fight, we are fundraising for critical equipment such as an infrared sauna, red light therapy, and other holistic tools, along with covering travel and medical expenses for them.
