My name is Naomie Harston, and I'm a young trans woman looking to attend the University of Tasmania's Bachelor of Design program, with a focus in advanced design and 3D modeling, beginning in July 2025.

*** UPDATE 3/24/24: I have been ACCEPTED into University of Tasmania's design program!! Now, instead of a credit check, I simply need to pay the $12,500 Commencement Fee to complete my acceptance and start the enrollment process!!

Why Tasmania? Compared to my home state of Texas in the United States of America, tertiary education in Tasmania is easier to access, higher quality, and more financially accessible. Additionally, the relative sociopolitical safety to be found in Hobart is appealing given the current and ongoing political chaos of the United States. While I have been ramping up for a return to post-secondary education for about three years, the realities of life in the United States and my current income have not allowed me to save up that amount of money. To this end, any amount you are willing to provide would be immensely helpful and endlessly appreciated.
