Support Nani's Efforts to Heal Dobby

Hi I’m Nani!! I’m a huge animal lover, so when my recently adopted 10 month old puppy came across this sweet baby under one of my sheds I knew I had to help. Immediately we took him(Dobby) to the nearest vet where I was… mildly annoyed (at this point) at how little they seemed to care until I said I’d pay and even then they were less than eager. They sent us home with antibiotics with blood and pus still caked to his nose.

Why do I mention this..

Well I cleaned it and came across what I believe to be a Cuterebra (due to the knowledge of others) aka a Bot Fly festering in his nostril.

As a mom of 2 boys, I. Saw. Red. How could they just… miss that? I immediately called the OG vet and was met with “could you send a picture to our email?” I did and called back. “Could you send us a video? I spoke to the doctor and she doesn’t think it’s anything like a parasite, but if she can see it moving that may change her opinion.” THIS IS JUST THE JIST OF THE CONVO

So I’m bringing him in tomorrow (to a new vet) and I’m currently using my birthday trip money for his expenses but there’s only so much and apparently all they wanna do is charge me top dollar for low bar care. Anything at all helps❤️
