UPDATE: Hello everyone! I'm happy to report that my surgeries went well and I am doing SO MUCH BETTER! Your generosity and love have been overwhelming, and we are closer to our goal than I could ever have imagined. I am posting this fundraiser one more time because we have come upon some unexpected expenses and are still trying to get back on our feet. Hello everyone. Many of you might know that next Tuesday and Thursday (April 21st and 23rd) I am having two major spinal surgeries. I will remain hospitalized from Tuesday to at least Friday, and then will have about six weeks of recovery ahead, during which I will be unable to work. The issues with my spine, combined with my Rheumatoid Arthritis and other illnesses, have changed my life radically. The pain, weakness, and fatigue are truly starting to wear me down. I have been struggling with walking and many basic tasks for almost two years now, so I am thrilled to finally have hope of getting better. After trying and failing several treatments and dealing with a series of costly life expenses, money has been extremely tight for some time now and it is likely to get even worse during the time I cannot work. I hesitated to even start this GoFundMe because I have already received so much love and help from you all. However, my mother and I are in a really difficult situation and ANY amount you can give will be accepted with overwhelming gratitude and love. I truly have the best friends and family anyone could ever dream of. If you are unable to give, I humbly ask for your prayers and loving thoughts through the coming weeks, and thank you from the bottom of my heart.
