Support Nancy's Fight Against Glioblastoma
Donation protected
My name is Rigoberto and I am 30 years old, my wife's name is Nancy and she is also 30 years old, she is a sweet, charismatic, kind, caring and very creative young woman, she has been my light in my darkest days, we have lived together as a couple for 4 years and we have known each other for 12 years, during this time she has been my biggest support and my reason for living, she is my everything. 6 months ago we were celebrating our 30th birthday and everything was going well, unexpectedly she began to lose sensation on the entire right side of her body, 5 months ago, she quickly began to lose vision and hearing, after going to several doctors and after many examinations they found that she has a tumor in her brain the size of a golf ball, to this moment she has had 2 surgeries, one was an emergency to relieve intracranial pressure and the next to remove a part of the tumor for a biopsy, the biopsy showed that she has glioblastoma multiforme, the last operation got complicated and as a result she has now an infection inside the operation wound and surgeons tell us that she will need 2 more operations, in addition she needs physiotherapy to regain movement since she cannot move 70% of her body and will also need radio and chemotherapy.
Unfortunately the surgeries that have been performed so far and the care that she has needed have already drained my resources and those of our families, and for her to live we have to proceed with the next 2 surgeries as soon as possible and that is why I have turned to this platform to ask for the help of all those great hearts who want to contribute so that my wife continues living. The money raised will be used for the next 2 surgeries, one of the surgeries is to put the piece of skull that was removed in the last surgery back into place (which could not be placed at that time because the brain was swollen) and the other surgery will be to drain the infected brain fluid, cure the infection and place a new ventricular drain. Any help received is appreciated, no matter how small it is, it always helps.
