My name is Nicholas, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my mother, Nancy, who has been diagnosed with CIDP (Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy)—a rare autoimmune disorder that attacks the nerves, causes severe weakness, and can become disabling without treatment. Over the last several months, her condition has worsened. She now struggles with walking, gripping objects, and doing daily tasks she once did with ease.
The recommended treatment—which includes IVIG infusions, ongoing neurological care, and supportive therapies—is essential for stopping the progression of CIDP and helping her regain mobility. Unfortunately, the cost of treatment is overwhelming. Even with insurance, the out-of-pocket expenses are more than our family can manage alone. The funds will be put into an interest-bearing checking account and used for treatment billing only.
We are asking for your help—whether it’s through a donation or sharing this page with others. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps Nancy move closer to getting the care she urgently needs and gives her hope during a terrifying and uncertain time. My mother is strong, loving, and has always put others first. Now she needs our help. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading, sharing, donating, and supporting her fight against CIDP.
With gratitude, Nicholas
