Support Nancy, Tom & Mila's Medical Journey

Hi, my name is Barb Hansen and I'm raising funds for my sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Tom Snedeker. Back in February we thought their little dog, Mila, hurt herself jumping off the bed and hasn't been herself since. They had taken her to their local Vet in Slayton and then to the Veterinary Clinic in Brandon, SD where no one was able to find anything. Last week she became lethargic, couldn't walk, fell over and had a couple of seizures. They rushed her to the Emergency Veterinary Clinic in Sioux Falls on Sunday. This was the start of overnight stays and many expensive tests. From there they were referred to a Neurologist at the Animal Emergency & Referral Center of Minnesota in St. Paul.

After two days of more expensive exams and testing, we have a diagnosis. She has an Inflammatory Disease of the Nervous System (like Meningitis in humans), which is treatable with rest and medication.

Nancy's husband Tom was diagnosed with cancer 13 months ago and is unable to work and currently in treatment. Therefore, finances are very tight for them, but they couldn't let their sweet little girl, Mila, go without treatment.
