As all of who know Nancy Pinney know she is the most altruistic, generous and deeply kind person you could ever meet. Her tireless work in the Connecticut River Valley delivering Meals on Wheels and developing relationships to the housebound members of our community, and organizing a really special Christmas delivery every year making sure everyone feels they have somebody looking out for them.
Now it’s our turn to look out for Nancy. On Friday whilst hosting the First Friday event at Chester Gallery, Nancy suffered a massive heart attack. Thanks to a life saving intervention from two nurses that happened to be in attendance, Nancy’s life was saved and she was rushed to the hospital. After being transferred to Hartford Hospital and undergoing surgery, Nancy is now on the road to recovery.
At the best of times making ends meet is difficult, and keeping the gallery open can be a constant struggle. While she recovers from this massive heart attack, covering medical expenses and gallery bills will help keep her business running and give Nancy some peace of mind.
Donations will help with medical bills and keeping the gallery open while Nancy recovers. Help us do that for her with a donation today. Any support or share means so much for someone who has given so much to others.
