I’m reaching out today to support a beloved member of our Hendrick Hudson Class of ’83 family who is going through more than anyone should face alone.

Our dear friend Nancy Neider Hyland, who lives in Florida, recently lost her beloved husband, Larry. With no local family to lean on, she’s been left to navigate her grief on her own.

At the same time, Nancy has successfully dealt with her own health challenges while trying to secure new employment. Although she is now able to work, she currently has no income as she is searching for a job that she can manage - while maintaining her health. Her Social Security Survivor Benefits are temporarily inaccessible, leaving her with mounting daily expenses for basic needs like housing, food, and medical care.

To help her stay afloat during this overwhelming time, we’ve created a GoFundMe account. Your contribution — whether large or small — will directly support Nancy’s immediate needs and give her some breathing room as she works to rebuild her life and secure stable employment.
