With heavy hearts, we share that our beloved Nana, Nancy Colleen Forgey, has peacefully entered into rest. Nana was a source of love, warmth, and wisdom for all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and everyone whose lives she touched. She spent her years rooted in faith, family, and service to others, always offering gentle guidance and boundless care. Her kindness and strength were evident in every aspect of her life, from her early days as a welder to her years nurturing children and supporting her church community.
During this difficult time, some family and friends have asked how they might help. We have set up this fund to assist with funeral, medical, and memorial expenses. If donations exceed these needs, remaining funds will be donated to The Pentecostal Church, www.tpckansascity.com, and Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care, www.kchospice.org, honoring Nana’s spirit of generosity.
Thank you for your kindness, love, and support — it means the world to our family. Your thoughts, prayers, and memories are deeply appreciated and bring comfort as we celebrate Nana’s life and legacy. “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” (2 Timothy 4:7)
