Right after Easter 2021 my best friend Nancy was hit hard by what they called a thyroid storm. It left her bed ridden for a couple weeks….then she woke up in the middle of the night having trouble breathing.
After going to the hospital they noticed fluid in and around her lungs. They proceeded to drain the fluid to reveal a large cancer mass in her lung. A PET scan revealed it had also spread to the frontal lobe of her brain.
In the short time of a few weeks so much has changed. Nancy has went from being hard working, vibrant, and full of life to weak, frail, and tired.
Nancy has been diagnosed with small cell carcinoma, which according to the statistics doesn’t have a high survival rate. She has currently undergone a few rounds of chemo and radiation like a champ. Her Spirit was high going into it.
Currently Nancy is back in the hospital fighting for her life, now confronted with pneumonia and MRSA. This has left her mostly unresponsive. She hasn’t eaten now for 2 days.
We know how hard times are right now for everyone, especially during this pandemic. As medical and personal bills are exponentially increasing we ask you to please help donate whatever you can for Nancy and her family to make it through this difficult and delicate time.
Thank you immensely for your donation, time, love, prayers, and blessings for Nancy and her family.
Life is shorter than we think. Be sure to embrace and appreciate your loved ones. Our time together is truly never promised… and so very priceless.
