Support Nancy Imperiale's Cancer Battle
Donation protected
We’re raising funds for our Mom, Nancy, who is battling stage 4 liver bile duct cancer. This cancer is very aggressive and came out of nowhere.
In December, Mom was traveling with her son, Tony, on a hiking trip in the Grand Canyon. She started having dizzy spells of what she thought was elevation sickness. Within a week she was in the hospital and undergoing a biopsy. Complications from that biopsy landed her in the ICU and we were told she might not make it through the night. However, she fought through and made it out of the ICU and eventually out of the hospital in January.
After her first stay in the hospital, we hit many hurdles with insurance and Mom returned home to finally start getting treatment with an oncologist. However, the curveballs continued and she was admitted back to the hospital twice with serious infections that once again threatened her life. Again, she persevered and started chemo in February.
Now, thanks to her strength and everyone’s prayers we have been blessed with the opportunity to transfer her care to a hospital which specializes in this aggressive form of cancer.
As you can imagine, the medical bills have stacked up from multiple ambulance rides, 3 separate stays in hospitals, and the continued cost to fight. We would appreciate any donation or good thoughts and prayers as she continues this battle.
Thank you very much
