In Memory of Robert (Bob) Louis Mikkelson

March 25, 1949 - July 13, 2024

On July 13th, our community suffered a heartbreaking loss with the passing of Robert (Bob) Louis Mikkelson. Bob was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, veteran, farmer, and a true cornerstone of this town.

Those who knew Bob knew him as a man you could instantly connect with. He possessed a warmth and genuine friendliness that made him feel like a lifelong friend, even after your first encounter. His knowledge on a multitude of subjects was vast, making him a constant source of wisdom and guidance.

Bob's greatest passion in life was his family. He considered them his greatest treasure and source of strength. He wasn’t fearful of death but said he couldn’t rest in peace until he knew that his wife, Nancy, and their daughters and grandchildren would be taken care of.

While we mourn the loss of this incredible man, we hope to ease the immense weight of loss his family carries. This GoFundMe campaign aims to raise funds to cover unexpected expenses and allow Nancy and her family the space to grieve and celebrate Bob's remarkable life.
