Update: Unfortunately, several weeks ago Nancy was admitted to the ER in Jerseyville where they found 3 tumors in her brain. She was then taken to Christian Northeast and transferred again to Barnes-Jewish in STL where she is currently undergoing radiation and scheduled for two surgeries to remove the worst tumors, they are hopeful the third can be shrunk via radiation. She has not been able to work consistently due to her health, and now she will have even more bills, and we have no idea when she will be able to return to work at all. Hello! My name is Jessie. In early 2023 my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. Luckily it had not spread, and she was able to quickly start treatment, which most of you know isn't a walk in the park. Some of her early tests were not covered by insurance, which has left her with some hefty medical bills. She has also had to take a lot of time off of work for chemo, recovering from surgery, and radiation next, followed by more chemo. She does get disability at the moment but it's not quite enough to cover everything. We have already received so much help from our family, friends, and community, and we are so grateful to everyone.
