My name is Courtney Pauley, and I live in the Asheville, NC area.

As you may know, Hurricane Helene ravaged its way through western NC, and my hometown of Burnsville was greatly impacted, along with many of the surrounding areas. People in our community are still without food and water, missing, or dead.

Reba Hensley is my husband’s grandma, and “Nana” to so many. Her life was spared, thank God, but she lost her house, and everything she owns. She made it out with the help of her son, David. They managed to grab her pets, a change of clothes, and a few photos, but besides that she lost everything she has ever worked for.

Nana is the kindest lady you will ever meet. She is a HUGE part of my husband McKenzie’s life. We love her so much, and want to give her at least a portion of what she lost to ensure she is okay. She is safe, but still without power and water, and has no belongings. If you are able, please consider donating to help this amazing lady.
