Support Nana's Funeral in Her Final Journey

It is with heavy heart and deep sorrow that we say goodbye to my beloved grandmother. She was the heart of our family, a constant source of strenght, love and wisdom. Her presence filled every room with warmth, laughter and love. Nana was a woman of immense resilience. A widow of nine children, two of whom she tragically lost. In the 1980's, she made the brave decision to leave behind San Luis Sonora, MX and move to California to start a new chapter. Even though she never spoke English, she still found a way to connect with people at the casino, speaking broken English with strangers and winning their hearts with her charm. Her intelligence was unmatched. Whenever anyone of us was sick, she had a holistic remedy. Her unwavering faith in the Virgin Mary gave us all strength in the toughest of times. She had a way of making everything seem manageable, teaching us that no matter the challenge, we could face head-on with courage and love. Even at 99, grandma fought with everything she had. Her will to live was unmatched, and she held on until the very end, a testament to her warrior spirit. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family. I will carry her memory in my heart forever. I will honor her by following in her footsteps-living with the same strength, love, and resilience that she showed us. Con gran pesar y profunda tristeza, despedimos a mi querida abuela. Era el corazón de nuestra familia, una fuente constante de fortaleza, amor y sabiduría. Su presencia llenaba cada habitación de calidez, risas y amor. Nana fue una mujer de inmensa resiliencia. Viuda de nueve hijos, dos de los cuales perdió trágicamente. En la década de 1980, tomó la valiente decisión de dejar San Luis Sonora, México, y mudarse a California para comenzar una nueva etapa. Aunque nunca hablaba inglés, siempre encontraba la manera de conectar con la gente en el casino, hablando mal inglés con desconocidos y ganándose sus corazones con su encanto. Su inteligencia era inigualable. Siempre que alguno de nosotros estaba enfermo, ella tenía un remedio holístico. Su fe inquebrantable en la Virgen María nos dio fuerza a todos en los momentos más difíciles. Tenía una forma de hacer que todo pareciera manejable, enseñándonos que, sin importar el desafío, podíamos enfrentarlo con valentía y amor. Incluso a los 99 años, mi abuela luchó con todas sus fuerzas. Su voluntad de vivir era inigualable y perseveró hasta el final, testimonio de su espíritu guerrero. Deja un legado de amor, fortaleza y devoción inquebrantable a su familia. Llevaré su recuerdo en mi corazón por siempre. La honraré siguiendo sus pasos, viviendo con la misma fuerza, amor y resiliencia que ella nos demostró. Si deciden donar para el funeral de mi abuela, se lo agradezco de todo corazón.
