Support Nana's Family After Tragic Loss

Hi, my name is Taylor Gonzalez. I am Andrea's sister-in-law, but like so many others, I knew and loved her as “Nana.”

It’s with a broken heart that I share that Nana tragically passed away on Sunday, March 23rd, 2025, in a sudden and devastating head-on collision. The impact was immediate, and she was taken from us far too soon.

Nana was the kind of person you never forget. She had the biggest heart and always looked for ways to help those around her. She was deeply loving and fiercely loyal to her family, her siblings, and especially her three children—Lily, Lina, and Nicky. She was the glue that held everyone together, the one who organized all the family gatherings, the one who made everyone feel cared for and seen.

Nana had just begun a new chapter in her life. She recently got a home with her daughter Lina, something she had worked toward for a long time. She was so proud and so excited to finally have her own space. Even more than that, she was overjoyed to be becoming a grandmother for the very first time—Lina is six months pregnant, and Nana couldn’t wait to meet her grandbaby.

She leaves behind her three beautiful children:

Lily, her oldest daughter and her first love.

Lina, who is expecting and navigating this unimaginable loss while preparing for motherhood.

Nicky, still in high school, now facing the rest of his teenage years without his mom.

This tragedy was so sudden that none of us were prepared. We are raising funds to help cover the cost of Nana’s funeral and burial expenses, as well as to support her children through this difficult time. They now face the emotional and financial burden of trying to figure out what to do with the new home and how to move forward without the person who kept them anchored.
